Dr. Sarah Glover (PhD/Art History, MA/Art History)

Dr. Sarah Glover is assistant professor of art and director of the Art History program at Bradley University, Peoria, Illinois. She received the Caterpillar Inc. Faculty Award for Teaching, and has twice received Bradley’s Chair Award for Outstanding Faculty Member. Glover is organizing a nationwide exhibition of representations of the Virgin Mary in contemporary art.

Dr. Wendy Greenhouse (PhD/Art History)

Dr. Wendy Greenhouse is a Chicago-based art historian who has written and lectured widely on the history of art in Chicago. Among her publications are catalogs of the Union League Club of Chicago art collection, the Powell and Barbara Bridges Collection of paintings by Chicago artists, and exhibitions on Chicago art and artists for the Terra Museum of American Art, the Chicago History Museum, and the Brauer Museum at Valparaiso University.

Dr. Melissa Johnson (PhD/Art History, MILS/Archives)

Dr. Melissa Johnson is assistant professor of art history at Illinois State University, and graduate coordinator of the Masters Program in Visual Culture. Her recent publications include “Weimar Cultural Production: Visual Pleasure and Radical Critique in the Work of Hannah Höch,” Essays on Women’s Artistic and Cultural Contributions 1919-1939: Expanded Social Roles for the New Woman following the First World War, 2009. She is currently at work on a book project on Höch’s mass-media scrapbook.

Dr. Claire Kovacs (PhD/Art History, MA/Art History)

Dr. Claire Kovacs is Curator of Collections and Exhibitions at the Binghamton University Art Museum in Binghamton, New York. Her art history research interests focus on social networks and their implications on artistic process, collaboration and exchange. She is interested in the means by which museums and art collections can impact a liberal arts education through curatorial practice and digital engagement.

Dr. Stacey Robertson (PhD/History, MA/History)

Dr. Stacey Robertson is a historian, author, speaker and Dean of the College of Arts and Humanities at Central Washington State University in Ellensburg. Her most recent book, her fourth, is Betsy Mix Cowles, Champion of Equality which is part of the Lives of American Women Series.

Dr. Susan Weininger (PhD/Art History)

Dr. Susan Weininger is professor emerita of art history at Roosevelt University, Chicago, where she was Chair of the Department of History, Art History and Philosophy. She has curated art exhibitions at museums and galleries in Illinois and written catalog essays, including two in Chicago Modern 1893-1945, Pursuit of the New, the last exhibit at the Terra Museum of American Art. She is currently working on a catalog essay on the artist Francis Chapin.
